Training and volunteer work:
The club operates on the basis of another workers' co-operative giving employment to members of the poor districts in which we work as well as enabling them to be trained in an enterprise within the tourism sector.
- Shared tasks (can be included in the volunteer's program): Volunteers are invited to share in the training of the workforce and helping out with some of the tasks such as cooking and serving breakfast, taking reservations, entering data onto the computer system, welcoming new volunteers and teaching English.
- Spanish and English lessons: teachers of both languages can offer one-to-one or group tuition. Also, conversation classes for specific topics can be arranged and led by specialist teachers. Volunteers can improve their Spanish and young people from the areas in which we operate can improve their English and, in turn, their chances of finding gainful employment.
